About the job

As Method Engineer at our factory in İzmir, Turkey, you will be responsible for organizing production planning and processes and the coordination between the production resources.

You will be controlling the activities within the Production Department for compliance with JSB’s customer requirements, legal requirements, safety restrictions, and supporting projects regarding manufacturing parts as efficiency, safety, quality, improvement etc.

Furthermore, the Production Engineer will report to the Production Manager.

The position is located in İzmir, Turkey.

Your key areas of responsibility will be:

· Taking and reporting the necessary actions for the follow-up and realization of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets

· Collaboration on superior projects like optimization and general improvement of processes and procedures

· Supporting projects regarding manufacturing parts as efficiency, safety, quality, improvement etc.

· Determining the problems that cause efficiency losses by analyzing the existing system and ensuring that solutions are developed in accordance with the Lean Production logic

· Coordinative tasks, long-term investment, and strategic planning for KPI’s

· Determining the training status and needs of the production personnel

· Managing activities such as process improvement and reduction of production costs

· Analyzing production performance indicators, to make root cause analysis of results that do not comply with the target

· Analyzing losses because of inventory counts and organizing preventive actions.

What are we looking for?

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical-Electronics Engineering

· Min. 3 years of experience with machining and manufacturing

· Good knowledge and experience within manufacturing with numeric control (CNC) production processes

· Knowledge of CAM coding and software

· Experience in production method engineering

· Strong analytical and technical skills with respect to problem solving

· Strong commitment to customer satisfaction

· Ability to negotiate & convince others, cooperatively working within cross-functional teams

· No military service obligation for male candidates

· No travel restrictions

· Good command of written and verbal English

On the personal side, you are self-driven, structured, and proactive. You are detail oriented as well able to keep the big overview of overall production plan and your tasks. You hold strong communication skills which enables you to communicate at all levels in production and maintenance, and you are team player who always give a helping hand in need to support Production Manager. In addition, you thrive in working in a dynamic organization, changes due to customer demands should be reflected to production immediately and you will be supporting Production Manager in these circumstances.
