QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
BGC Partners Menkul Degerler requires a junior compliance officer for its Istanbul office who also needs to support London risk department
Key responsibilities:
Undertake responsibility in different domains of compliance to CMB and MASAK regulations (Client onboarding (KYC), transaction monitoring, risk assessment, Sanction- PEP screening, AML/CFT and other regulatory areas)
Assist the implementation of the company’s compliance program
Assist the implementation and review of policies, procedures, training docs to ensure compliance with all local and global applicable rules and regulations
Assist to ensure proper reporting to the management and the local regulatory bodies wherever required
Assist London risk department with margin monitoring, reporting and quantitative assessment
Preparation of financial information for new and existing clients in Istanbul to enable London office to undertake credit reviews
Skills/experience required:
The successful candidate will be of degree calibre consistent with finance and the capital markets.
Strong Excel skills
Fluent in English
Having Capital Market Activities License (or being passed a few of exemination subjects) will be plus
