QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Description:
Performing daily accounting & finance activities (fixed asset , vendor invoices ,T&E expenses ,payments , post dated check and bank entries )
Communication with the group companies and perform Intercompany transactions and account reconciliations
Managing and controlling the reconciliation process with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable accounts
Support and follow daily treasury activities (check discounting, forward , hedging ) with the close contact with the Country Controller
Responsible of the balance sheet account reconciliations
Managing bank application tasks and processes with the Controller and Shared Service Center
Take an active role in month-end closing activities
Preparing statutory forms and performing accounting operations per VUK and TTK laws and regulations
Performing e-ledger and e-invoice duties
Contact for internal and external audits
Provide support to the Controller in other accounting tasks
Actively participate in process enhancement & IT projects
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in related departments,
Minimum 4-5 years of practical experience on accounting and finance related positions
Proficiency in MS Office Applications
SAP knowledge is plus
Advanced level of written and spoken English
Knowledge of Turkish Tax, Turkish Accounting Standards
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Team player with good communication skills – written and verbal,
Preferably living on the Anatolian side of Istanbul
