We are looking for a Warehouse Development Specialist to take part in Warehouse Development Department located in Tuzla/İstanbul. The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferable Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering or relevant)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the field of logistic or warehouse development
- Preferable knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Simulation-Based Design tools
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong communication skills and a good team player
- No restrictions for domestic and international travels
Job Description
- Responsible for measuring, analyzing and improving each activities’ performance in the warehouses
- Responsible for performing warehouse operations process and system improvement activities, performance management and training activities for the warehouse operations function in the alignment of central supply chain management principles
- Responsible for the analyzing and optimizing warehouse operations processes to ensure the standardization and effectiveness including searching for global benchmarks, monitoring adaptation of process and policies
- Responsible to create strategies, based on more agile, more flexible and higher operational performance
- Responsible for collecting warehouse data and making necessary measurements for KPI, SLA and OLA target setting
- Responsible for preparing project activities, project plan, approach documents, project resources for warehouse operations initiatives and coming up with new strategic initiative ideas in collaboration with warehouse operations functional teams
- Responsible for coming up with warehouse development projects and enhancement of existing processes (e.g. warehouse design etc.) and implementation and of new these projects
- Lead the digitalization initiatives of warehouse operations function with digital enablers (i.e. data models, data transparency solutions, big data analytics, automation, RPA etc.) and perform necessary activities for setting the standards for warehouse operations functions’ specific master data in coordination with master data governance team in Şişecam IT and master data team
