QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
- Have a good knowledge of fabric and materials
- Provide support to set SOP for Denim Washing or Garment Dyeing to execute Bulk Production.
- Control implementation of the washing program including the use of chemicals in washing recipes according to the customer’s Restricted Substance List and advises suppliers on best alternatives substances to ensure compliance with requirements
- Ensures timely execution of production plan on washing and finishing according to established quantity, range of products and quality
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate departmental activities to fulfil orders and meet inventory requirements.
- Make risk analysis of new wash affects in order to foresee potential problem
- Work on alternative solution on recipes/work methods/ supplier in order to achieve best wash results within best quality/lead-time/price.
- Inspecting garments for wash & giving approvals for SMS & production of denim washes, non-denim washes & garment dye finishes.
- Assisting laundries in Sustainable wash & finishes.
- Verifying Jeanologia EIM (Environment Impact Measurement) scores.
- Developing washes done by new innovative techniques, new chemicals and new technologies.
- Build up Chemical Management System with vendors based on ZDHC MRSL & RSL.
- Good at presentation technics
- Speak fluent English, if possible second language will be German
Requirements
· Diploma or Degree in related disciplines preferred
· Minimum 5 years' relevant experience
· Strong problem solving skills
· Literate in Microsoft office programs
· Have a driving licence
· Ability to travel inside & outside of the country
