QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Anatolia is a leading manufacturer, importer and distributor of ceramic and stone tiles and is a major supplier to some of the largest home centers and distributors throughout the United States and Canada. Based in Toronto, Anatolia is a privately owned 100% Canadian corporation that is growing rapidly.


Anatolia has been operating in Aliaga, Izmir, Turkey since August, 2017 in its 60,000-square meter Distribution Centre. With this facility, Anatolia has been supporting its North American Customers, and continues to expand to new markets in Europe, Asia, South America and Middle East. In addition to its Distribution Center, the construction of Anatolia’s 250.000-square meter ceramic manufacturing facility is in progress with operations commencing in 2022.


Anatolia is now seeking an Accounting and Finance Specialist. With this role, you will contribute to the efficiency of our business by providing timely support to internal and external stakeholders. What you need is…

  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics or related field with certificationsin Finance,
  • Very good command of both written and spoken English,
  • Min. 4 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in multinational companies,
  • Working experience with SAP is an asset,
  • Computer literate, including advanced working skills of MS Office specifically excel,
  • Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills,
  • Teamwork oriented with good communication skills,
  • Self-motivated and result oriented,
  • Military service completed for male candidates.

As an Accounting and Finance Specialist, you will be responsible for;

  • Weekly and monthly control of paid customs taxes for product exports to the US by our Canadian head office,
  • Investigating the differences in the paid customs fees and correcting the differences (if any in favor or against) in alignment with the US customs office,
  • Making system entries of the paid customs fees and balancing them with the payment,
  • Following up previously initiated US customs duty refund files,
  • Controlling Brokarage Statement weekly, making sap entries accordingly,
  • Checking the daily incoming drayage invoices, making sap entries accordingly,
  • Following up credit card expenses,
  • Creating SAP records for US & CA Visa transactions and performing US & CA Visa reconciliations,
  • Controlling purchase orders and cost center accounts,
  • Documentation related tasks,
  • Additional duties, as required.
