QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Established in the Odemis district of Izmir in 1982, Euro Gıda is today one of the largest and most reliable companies in the sector. Euro Gıda, which has a product portfolio consisting of a wide variety of pickles, canned vegetables and gourmet sauces, carries out contract manufacturing for many major brands and chain markets in Turkey and Europe on its B2B channel. In addition, the product it produces, inspired by many sources ranging from traditional family recipes to modern international cuisines, especially Melis, takes its place on the shelves with its own brands in many parts of the world. To be assigned in the Technical department of our factory, which was built with the latest technology in Kemalpaşa and produces 100 million jars per year in a closed area of 55,000 m2; We are looking for a Financial Controller.
QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or similar fields from reputable universities
- Minimum 3 years audit experience in Big4
- Additional min 2 years of production /manufacturing sector experience (total min5 years experience)
- Command on local accounting and solid IFRS knowledge
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Good command of SAP (FI, CO, MM)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Ensure Group reporting by preparing all group standard reports, (mainly production related / Operational performance reports)
- Prepare variance analyses (actual vs standard costs) to detect inefficiency points in plants and propose improvement plans to management
- Propose EBIT improvement, cost reduction actions
- Manage and maintain Standard cost and Transfer Price processes
- Prepare IRR calculations for new investments
- Supporting Finance Director in internal control actions
