QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an After Sales & Commissioning Engineer who will work under the guidance of Operations Director.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Advanced level of English
- Strong knowledge about implementation of ISO 9001, 14001,18001 and procedures
- Yacht, maritime sector experience is a major advantage
Job description
- Prepares and keeps up to date the pre-commissioning and commissioning execution plans (including the schedule and the mobilization of personnel and equipment)
- Manage Commissioning Parts ordering processes
- Assist the Operations Director with overall contractor coordination, planning and management
- Provide weekly reports on commissioning status
- Work with the Operations Director, Production and Project Engineers, and as required to review and implement all applicable Commissioning documents and processes and verify technical compliance from all parties
- Supervises the preparation and execution of the Performance tests and Operation
- Training maintenance and operative staff where appropriate
- Documentation and compiling of documents, operation & maintenance manuals, as-built drawings of systems and equipment
- Leading and responsible for pre-commissioning, commissioning, and hand over of systems to Client in accordance with contract conditions
- Checking that the equipment on the Yachts under construction is installed in accordance with the procedures, instructions, and standards
- To maintain comprehensive records of all enquiries and transactions between the client to the yard and yard to the supplier
- To drive the customer care starting from the building period for the rest of the lifetime of the vessel
- Develops productive and cooperative relationships with other teams to ensure the success of the business, team working
- Manage relations between customer (OR/crew), shipyard and suppliers
- Receive, analyze, and answer all customers’ requests, questions, and clarifications regarding to the maintenance, after sales services and spare parts by contacting the suppliers etc.
- Prepare and follow up technical and commercial offers for spare parts, service/refit maintenance contracts, or technical and operational training
- Evaluate and analyze incoming warranty claims
