Application Engineer İş İlanı

GENEL NİTELİKLER

We are looking for an Application Engineer to join our team specializing in Marine Systems and Marine Engineering for our Distribution Business Segment in Istanbul.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

· Applying Cummins’ marine products to ships and vessels requiring the development of technical specifications, implementing new design configurations, and delivering high performance, low-cost equipment and system solutions integrated with customers’ products

· Integrating high quality and optimized customer solutions through interactions with the aftermarket team

· Investigating integration and installation problems, understanding causal mechanisms, recommending appropriate action, owning problem resolution and documenting results

· Making decisions in the areas of product selection, design, and integration that impact marine system performance, optimization and quality

· Developing strong working relationships with customer technical counterparts to serve as their primary liaison to deliver product technical information, managing product specifications, communicating product change information, conducting installation issue resolutions and facilitating customer requests

· Ensuring products are applied and installed correctly to meet customer system requirements and environments

· Providing independent execution of established marine work processes and systems, while still developing technology or product knowledge; engaging with the improvement of systems and processes

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

· Bachelors/Masters in Engineering – preferably Marine Engineering

· Experience of working with marine systems such as high-speed diesel engines and propulsion systems important

· Fluent level of Turkish and English – written and spoken

· Willing and able to travel to client sites and shipyards when required
