Job Description

Overview
It is the mission and intent of this position that the Assistant Sales Manager, Corporate will assist in the fundamental set-up, organization and development of systems within the Sales and Catering departments. This position will create all forms, scheduling systems, and correspondence venues and devise accurate internal sales procedures for addressing daily requests.

Assistant Sales Manager, Corporate will be responsible for providing information, assisting in the daily operation of the Sales and Catering departments as well as the maintenance of all sales records. This individual will also maintain and update the Delphi system and communicate related information to colleagues. The administrative requirements of this position will not be limited to assisting with administrative needs, training, client relations, and general office projects under the direction of ADOS & DOSM.

Duties and Supporting Responsibilities

Seek and contact the new potential accounts.
Conducting sales calls and preparing weekly sales call reports.
Responsible for room night and revenue production from allocated accounts.
Responsible for quoting prices, sending proposals and following up the group leads for Corporate accounts.
Making ongoing market research to establish companies with possible accommodation, meeting, banquet, restaurants and health club
Monitor own corporate accounts’ monthly production and attend monthly corporate account review meetings.
Conduct onsite inspections for potential clients.
Update all Infor / Delphi Sales and Catering account and contact profiles to maintain a proper profile of all corporate & government accounts.
Preparing the group contract and sending it to account for confirmed corporate groups.
Entertaining C-Levels, executives and secretaries of potential corporate companies and in-house guests to ensure future business to the hotel.
Monitor current market trends and supply competitor activity information to the ADOS & DOSM.
Be aware of current market trends and supply competitor activity information to the ADOS & DOSM.
Attend daily sales briefings, weekly sales meetings and bi-weekly business development meeting.
Participate in familiarization visits and entertain as and when required.
Participate in any projects as and when assigned by the direct superior.
Participate in overseas sales trips and, when required, complete all sales reports within one week of the trip.
Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the department head.
