QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
As an Automotive Software Test Engineer in EE department you will be part of an engineering team that design, develop, enhance and validate electrified vehicles and their control systems. You will take role in designing test cases and validation processes unit, component and system for projects based on electrical commercial light vehicles. You may also take role in developing mathematical models for electrical powertrain components & systems and for driver & vehicle to full electric or hybrid vehicles.
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:
- Test case development for EV control functions, components and systems,
- Managing testing requirement at system and/or component level,
- Modeling test application SW,
- Simulating and testing on different SW levels on different environments,
- Validation of functions and systems at vehicle level,
- Developing design and test plan that will cover regulations and standards,
- Reporting test results and correlate simulations with vehicle level tests
- Supporting customer and other teams for SW related issues.
- BS or higher degree in Electrical and Electronics, Electronics, Mechatronics & Control Engineering,
- 3+ experience in electrical vehicles, model based design & development or similar areas,
- Ability to understand and resolve problems at both system and code level,
- Experience on Model-in-the-Loop, Processor-in-the-Loop and Hardware-in-the-Loop is must
- Hands-on experience with automotive related SW testing and tools
- Experience on Matlab Simulink Environment,
- knowledge for hybrid and electric vehicles,
- A team player with the ability to work to tight deadlines in a multi-discipline, multi-project environment,
- Knowledge about at least two of the following topics:
- Experience on HIL systems like dSPACE, ETAS, Speedgoat, or similar.
- Expertise in testing and analyze tools (Vector CANalyzer, CANoe or similar)
- Experience in Stateflow, Simulink Test, Simulink Check is a plus.
- Software versioning and source control
- Knowledge about E-drive control, power electronics and automotive electronics is a plus,Communication buses such as CAN, LIN FlexRay, Ethernet etc. and their databases,
- Self-motivation
- Good communication skills,
- Fluent speaking and excellent writing skills in English,
- Ability to work in a team as well as autonomous,
- Flexible for short trips abroad.
