QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Automotive Engineering (Master's and/or Ph.D. is a plus) or Technical education in CAD Design and Draftsman
- Fluent level English, German is a plus
- Excellent communication skills through work experience in global projects with international clients
- Ability to work in a team, structured working style
- 2-5 years of CATIA V5 experience in vehicle development projects for 2D/3D design, GSD, Part-Design, and Assembly-Design Workbenches or Siemens NX or Creo with Surface design
- Knowledge in at least one of the following PLM/PDM suites: Teamcenter, Windchill
- Proven track record in automotive Body/Interior/Exterior/BIW development projects
- Familiar with automotive product development processes
- Experience in manufacturing methods and technologies will be preferred
- Experience in GD&T and FMEA
- Knowledge in plastic and composite parts
- Willing to travel
Job Description
- Develop Body in White (BiW) / Body Interior/Exterior CAD models in Catia V5
- Ensure compliance with quality, design specifications and guidelines
- Proactively participate to design review meetings and generate solutions for design issues
- Cooperate with other technical teams and suppliers from concept phase up to SOP
- Technical reporting to clients and suppliers
