GENEL NİTELİKLER
We would like to work with Career Center Coordinators, who will lead our high school students' applications to universities, in NUN Schools Beykoz Campus.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Having a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology (preferably),
- Having a good command of advanced written and spoken English,
- Having a strong track-record of supporting successful student applications into matching universities according to their best abilities and potential, while abided with counselor work ethics,
- Having high working standards, confidentiality and high self-driven moral in work,
- Having great interpersonal skills with stakeholders (students, parents and school staff),
- Experience working with high school students and families in an educational context; college admissions or counseling experience (preferably),
- Strong written and oral communication skillset,
- Ability to deliver compelling presentations (both online and in-person) to a variety of internal and external audiences,
- Having strong analytical thinking and organizational skills, coordination skills, and a high research-competence.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creating individual career development portfolios (all studies and results of the student until graduation, award, success story, video, certificate, CAS and academic scores, project presentations, etc.),
- Individual counseling on students,
- Facilitating students’ exploration of possible career interests, field of study, and related experiential learning activities through different channels and platforms (Education and Career Fairs),
- Building an appropriate college list for each student (domestic and abroad) and advising students on college research tools,
- Developing the strength and skills of students for “college readiness”,
- Determining and executing exam preparation strategies,
- Conducting domestic and foreign university application processes,
- Having a know-how of the college admissions process,
- Providing college admission counseling and education for parents,
- Organizing summer school programs for high school students,
- Organizing mentoring program, meetings and networking days with alumni.
