QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree from a related field ,
- 1-3 years of category management / procurement experience,
- Good level of verbal and written skills in English,
- Good level of MS Office skills (especially in Excel & Powerpoint)
- Good negotiation skills,
- Having an analytical mindset,
- Able to work within tight deadlines,
- Multitasking and prioritization skills enhanced,
- Customer oriented,
- Support open communication and feedback culture,
- Open to change and innovation.
- Experience in retail, seasonal (heating, ventilation, Air Conditioning) or FDA/Built-in industry is a plus.
Job Description:
- Managing the negotiation process with suppliers and associates,
- Improving the supplier relations in accordance with our category strategy,
- Conducting meetings both with suppliers and with relevant stakeholders
- Executing the procurement processes of the related product category,
- Monitoring and analyzing the competition and focusing on the improvement areas,
- Following up the market trends closely and taking necessary actions about the new product trends,
- Managing daily decisions, negotiations and actions on pricing, competition, sales target, etc
- Having an active role on campaign management,
- Managing the relevant category budget (Sales, purchase, stock, total income)
- Owning the full responsibility of the commercial KPI’s (sales, stock, profitability, avaliability, etc)
- Ensuring the avaliability in accordance with the sales & stock budget
- Conducting necessary analysis, presenting and taking actions on time
- Making necessary preperations on time for the relevant meetings
