We are looking for an Engineer with the following specifications for our company that provides design and engineering services in the automotive industry for local and international platforms.
· Bachelor or Master Degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or equivalent engineering programs,
· Knowledge or experience about Chassis Systems (Suspension – Steering – Brake) applications,
· Proficient in the use of engineering software (preferably CATIA V5 and/or NX),
· Knowledge about chassis components, definition of the technical specifications and design parameters,
· Basic knowledge about vehicle dynamics,
· Knowledge about multi-body simulation (preferably ADAMS Car),
· Experience in kinematic analysis for mechanical systems,
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English,
· Experience in preparation of DFMEA and DVP documents,
· Proficient in MS Office,
· Highly motivated and able to adapt to dynamic working pace,
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
· Excellent ability for interdisciplinary and cross-location collaboration,
· Strong communication and representation skills,
· Having at least B class driver license and actively able to drive,
· Flexible for any domestic and international short / long term travels,
· Accommodate near in İstanbul (Anatolian) or Kocaeli,
· Ability to work independent, while cooperating with the team,
· Knowledgeabout GD&T principles and tolerance analysis,
· Knowledgeabout Matlab/Simulink and System Modeling (plus).
JOB DESCRIPTION
· Appropriate system layout creation and positioning of the system components by considering geometric integration and ergonomics requirements,
· Initial definition and change management of BOM,
· P-Diagram, Boundary Diagram, DVP and DFMEA studies during design phase,
· Supplier researching and management;technical discussions with supplier by considering cost, weight & quality ,
· Technical specification definition by considering system layout & requirements,
· Active participation & role in cross-functional design reviews and project meetings,
· Benchmark studies for related system taking into account target market and customer requests,
· Detailed concept report preparation by considering benchmark studies and customer requests,
· Aftersales focused design optimization studies,
· Target market regulation compatibility studies and reporting,
· RFI&RFQ preparation,
· Technical support (might be on side) during mass production,
· Design optimization studies according to the results of CAE analysis,
· Periodic report and presentation preparation during the development phase,
· Follow-up and manage 2D and 3D design studies,
· Problem solving based approach for the design issues which are observed during the prototype production, test & validation.
