QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for Congress Project Team Members in all levels;

• Aiming to develop his Career in Tourism & Travel Industry

• Position will be evaluated according to the past experience in congress organization

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Tourism & Hotel Management, Business, Economics or Administrative Sciences

• Positive and presentable

• Fluency in Turkish and English both written and verbal

• Qualified knowledge in use of Office programs (Excel, Word, Powerpoint etc.)

• Open to digital technologies, able to use the related computer programs for the virtual events

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work and cooperate well with several vendors such as hotels and suppliers

• No obligation to travel domestic and internationally

• Analytical, creative thinking, solution-oriented, proactive, team-workable, following innovations

• Effective management of time and ability to work under high pressure.

• Self-motivated

• Ability to handle and manage multiple tasks

• Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations

• No military obligation for male candidates

• Driving license (Class B) is obligatory


JOB DESCRIPTIONS

The successful candidates will work in the management of congresses, workshops and events together with the project management team regarding performing the related tasks below;

• Managing all the processes of the assigned congresses or any other projects

• Creating and following the check-lists and schedules

• Providing congress secretariat services,

• Making all arrangements of related events such as registration, accommodation, travel, technical and all logistical matters

• Correspondence with the current and possible sponsors through e-mail and sales calls

• Data collection and listing for related tasks

• Preparing presentations and proposals for possible organizations

• Operational management of congresses, events and meetings

• Preparing the essential printed materials such as announcements, flyers, posters, logos, name badges and strings, certificates, signage etc. together with the graphic designer

• Web site creation, follow-up and e-marketing

• Contracting and managing the organization venue / hotel, catering and related services

• Budget planning and/or reporting

• Handling pre-planning meetings, joining customer visits and conducting site inspections related to the events
