QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Country Sales Manager to be employed in the newly established Turkey office of our client company with foreign capital, which has been producing dental drugs and medical devices since 1932, operating in the international pharmaceutical industry.

The candidate will be reporting directly to the General Manager.

Ideal profile is:

  • Graduated from the relevant departments of universities, preferably with Master's or Doctorate degree.
  • 5 to 10 years in the field of pharmaceutical, medical device industry, preferably in dental products, with a successful track record in sales/business development as Sales Manager/Director, Regional Branch Manager, BUM or similar,
  • Experienced in managing a company, business unit or a sales department with P&L responsibility,
  • Experienced in sales and marketing functions, brand management,
  • Preferably experiences in working within an international group
  • Fluent in English
  • Able to use MS Word and Excel programs at a good level
  • Active driver
  • Resident in Istanbul Europe

  • Entrepreneurial, independent in management style and taking decisions,
  • Business drive and hands-on approach,
  • Strategic aptitude married with strong operational capacity,
  • Exposure to international environment and ability to report to and lead people in distant locations/virtually,
  • Experience in managing and building relations with distributors, preferably in the dental consumables area,
  • Goal-oriented; Management By Objective principle,
  • Very good leadership and people management skills,
  • Very good interpersonal and communication skills Motivational skills,
  • Ability to build and develop teams,
  • High energy and drive,

Job description:

The Country Sales Manager will perform several tasks:

1. Develop and implement a local business strategy based upon annual planning to deliver growth and sustained profitability whilst ensuring adherence to the Company’s policy, disciplines, and overall company strategy,

2. Maintain direct accountability and ownership for the sales and financial performance of the Company,

3. Create sales development and marketing strategy with a strong focus on digital transformation plan

4. Provide in-depth knowledge of local market opportunities and issues that may impact the development and successful execution of overall goals,

5. Train, coach, encourage, validate, and develop staff to achieve continuously improving client satisfaction and people engagement,

6. Monitor and analyze market trends, take a leading role in any business development initiatives or plans,

7. Manage and build relations with distributors,

8. Ensure the organization delivers the ultimate customer experience which drives customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention according to the business concepts and model,

9. Have efficient cooperation with managers outside the country.
