· University Degree (Preferably in HR or Shipping, but not a must)
· Advanced Level of English (B2 or higher preferred),
· Fast Learning Skills,
· Good Level of MS Office Knowledge,
· No Military Obligation for Male Candidates.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Crewing Assistant shall assist the Crewing Manager to:
- Ensure all Fleet Vessels are adequately manned and that respective vessel crewmembers are fully compliant with all National, International and Mandated Territorial Laws of respective Flags of Administration
- Arrange all crew change-overs and travel arrangements in coordination with respective vessels' Masters
- Ensure that the debriefing processes (including documentation) of Senior Officers comply with the company’s handover policy
- Collect Training Assessments of crewmembers one month after joining the vessels
- Monitor yearly unannounced drug & alcohol tests fleet wide
- Monitor due dates of ITF National Agreements
- Ensure all seafarers are well-dressed with overall suits and safety shoes prior to joining the vessel as per company’s dress code
- Forward crewmembers' Evaluation Reports to the Crewing Manager
- Monitor and confirm all respective crewmembers’ renewals of expiring Licenses, Certificates and Endorsements, Vaccinations and Health Certificates, Seaman’s Books, Schengen Visas and Passports
- Ensure and track crewmembers’ visas
- Check the PMS (Nozzle) Crew Module’s Overdue and Warning Lists weekly to notify the Crewing Manager of any deficiencies
- Apply for Flag Endorsements
- Develop and improve company procedures where necessary
- Complying with the SMS procedures and requirements and demonstrating his/her commitment to HSSQEEn excellence by his/her behaviour
