QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking Data Administrator for our Digital Industries to advance the growth of our global business in the arena of digitalization in manufacturing.
This position is responsible for the execution or review of requests for master data record creations and changes, ensuring adherence to all policies, procedures, and standards governing enterprise master data.
What are my responsibilities?
- Execute Master Data creations and changes
- Support the creation and approval of technical data sheets and labels
- Provide first line support on operational processes and applications. Communicate with cross-functional departments, including Product Portfolio Management, R&D, Customer Service, Quality, Planning, Pricing and Sales.
- Perform data quality checks
- Identify and correct minor issues with the processes or tools in a timely and collaborative manner
- Troubleshoot, research, and understand the correlation of data in day-to-day operations
- Generate ad hoc Master Data reports
- Develop and maintain documented policies and procedures pertaining to customer and vendor master data.
- Completes assigned project work in support of master data administration tasks, audit requests, and other projects.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a Science or Communication related field
- 1 - 3 years of experience in Master Data, Customer Service, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain
- Effective communication skills and proficiency in the English language; German is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, SAP experience a plus
- Is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and able to adapt and perform in a fast-paced environment
- Detail oriented, results driven, team player, proactive
- Deep understanding of master data management, data governance, and associated technologies
- Proven experience in establishing and operationalizing data management capabilities (not only maintaining)
- Experience working internationally for global markets and/or within global teams is a plus
