Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, computer science,Information technologies or related discipline
3+ years of professional experience in database management
Strong knowledge on NoSQL and Relational databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL)
Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies for MongoDB and/or PostgreSQL
Experience with SQL Tuning and optimization
Experience with Linux systems and shell scripting
Ability to read and research technical documents written in English No military obligations for male candidates

Job Description

Perform database installation, configuration and maintenance on existing and new database instances
Monitoring system performance and identifying problems that arises
Setup and maintain backup, restore and disaster recovery procedures
Suggesting changes and improvements for performance and security improvement Protect the database against threats or unauthorized access
Provide support and solution to problems that may occur in off-hours on the systems and applications
