This position is required to support and implement the ERKA's IT Strategy and provide support for all strategic Database Management Systems across various project of ERKA.

Job Description

Performing tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity
Monitoring database performance, implementing changes and applying new patches and versions
Perform database administration and mitigate potential vulnerabilities on database servers
Provide high quality support for developers and customers
Design and perform scheme changes according to needs of product development teams
The ability to work well under pressure and prioritise conflicting demands
A degree in a technical discipline, Computer Science preferred

Qualifications

5+ years experience working as a DBE/DBA
MSSQL Database Administration, installation, upgrade, patching
Database Backup & Recovery
Database Performance Tuning
Refactor SQL code to reduce complexity and improve performance
Disaster Recovery, Database Replication, ETL
Database Design Techniques
Optimize, validate and adjuct MySQL configuration
Good to have ETL experience
Understanding of Distributed systems
