QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Job responsibilities
- Manage & process design work associated with sales orders, including:
- Preparation of General Arrangements
- Preparation of Component Diagrams (Cross Sections)
- Detailing of fabrications & machined components
- Ensure that the companies strict I.P. policy is adhered to.
- Support sales team & operations where necessary, including customer complaints, root cause analysis etc.
- Conduct site visits to take measurements for new installations.
- Design & development of Engineered Equipment, primarily pumps and fabrications, but also working on other types of process equipment.
- Assist with departmental projects regarding CE legislation including PED, ATEX and Construction Design Management (CDM).
- Support for Brownfield Optimization and Solutions team.
- Review of technical specifications for major inquiries.
- Attend Project Kick-Off Meetings (KOM).
Qualifications
- Degree: Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years Mechanical Engineering experience
- Experienced designer in one or more of the following equipment types:
- Rotating Equipment
- Mineral Processing Equipment
- Fabrications such as bedplates, walkways, chutes, vessels
- Experienced with a major 3D CAD System, ideally Siemens NX
- Knowledge of Team Centre PLM ( Product Lifecycle Management )
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word etc)
- SAP knowledge would be an asset
- Self-motivated
- Good communication skills
- Advanced in Turkish and English language
