QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Direct Materials /Resins Purchasing Manager, as a critical leader / team player to our leading company in flexibles packaging, reporting to Procurement Director.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduated from Engineering or Basic Science departments from reputable universities
- Solid analytical skills, with strong strategic procurement & continuous imprvement mindset
- Minimum 7-8 years experience in polymer/resins purchasing
- Proven track in procurement spend category management and supply chain, preferably material planning,
- Result oriented, analytical, proactive in collaboration,
- Capable leader, people focused, experince in team management and development of people
- Fluent in English
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office and preferably literacy in SAP
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Performing strategic purchasing category management of critical chemical spent (Granules, Resins / Polymers) related to production
- Leading alternative supplier development projects
- Managing the team that will secure the supply with a total cost optimization approach
- Guiding the material requirement planning in the relevant purchase categories
- Creating and managing the future plans of the purchasing category in agreement with the other business units
- Being responsible for the functional and competency development of the team with a continuous improvement approach
