To join a dynamic team in Turkey & MENA region, Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics is looking for a District Sales Manager to be located in Istanbul office.

Job Description:

  • Preparing sales budget and delivering both the sales and margin targets, promoting Saint-Gobain products in the market.
  • Leads accounts plan for all existing and new product/applications offerings to maintain project pipeline strong for sustainable future growth and executes against win strategy to close of deals
  • Establishing working relationships with key influencers and decision makers within OEMs, KAs & Converters in his area.
  • Reviewing and submitting RFQs. Providing content and direction as necessary through the entire offer process.
  • Having responsibility for the delivery of a solution to the customer, drawing on assistance from internal teams including Internal Sales, Technical Sampling Support, Quality and Process Engineering teams.
  • Be an active member of Southern Europe Sales Teams by participating internal trainings and regular meetings.
  • Prospect, qualify and develop new business opportunities with selling channel partner/converters at end user for Industrial markets.
  • Competitive watch and benchmark in his area.
  • Create sales reports for higher ups in the company

All candidates need to have the following minimum requirements;

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. (Engineering degree will be an asset)
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in sales and/or marketing of engineering solutions Industrial Market (preferably in Electromechanics , Home Appliance , Automotive , Renewable Energy , etc. (Candidates of application, design and/or project engineering background with customer facing roles may also be evaluated).
  • Experience with Bonding and/or Insulating Tape solutions is an asset.
  • Excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken)
  • Capable of communicating efficiently with customers (written, oral and computer presentations)
  • Ability to work closely with customers
  • Must be a good team player and a person of integrity.
  • Great organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel in the district frequently
  • Experience with customer relationship software and services, such as SalesForce
  • Basic level understanding of quality assurance systems in modern industrial enterprises (EAQF / TS16949 / ISO14000 / ISO 9001 etc…)
  • Military service must be completed for male candidates.
  • Having a valid driver license.
