QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are in search of a Area Sales Manager for Danfoss Power Solutions.

Location: Maslak, TURKEY


Job Definition

Manage relations with existing customers in the region under his/her responsibility, develop strategies to achieve the company’s set turnover and profitability targets and increase market share. Gain new markets and customers.


Job Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies and business plans in accordance with the annual budget, sales and profitability targets for the Asia Pacific Region and take actions accordingly,
  • Conduct market visits and market, competition and price analyses; develop sales strategies that would increase market share,
  • Develop strategies and take action for the expansion of the customer portfolio and sales channels,
  • Contribute to the new product development processes in line with the needs of the market,
  • Conduct pricing activities for newly-proposed products,
  • Develop customer and market visit plans, communicate meeting reports to the relevant departments following such visits,
  • Communicate customer requests and/or feedback for the market to the relevant technical departments and follow up such processes,
  • Provide support to the finance department, when necessary, on the follow-up of receivables collection,
  • Work in collaboration with the operational teams to follow up order, production and shipment processes,
  • Represent the company at events and exhibitions that are organized abroad.


Background & Skills

The ideal candidate possesses these skills

  • 4-year undergraduate degree from a university,
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in international sales,
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills in English,
  • Knowledgeable and experience in technical sales and interest in technical matters and details are preferred,
  • Broad global and regional market perspective,
  • Market / competitor / industry / platform orientation and high level of statistical skills for data analysis,
  • Solution orientation in customer relations,
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills,
  • Willingness and aptitude for team work,
  • Strong planning, organization and time management skills,
  • No restrictions for travelling.
