Export Documentation Responsible
JOB DESCRIPTION:
· Obtaining shipping instructions, VGM forms and customs declaration forms from customers, requesting missing information from customers if any, collecting revised shipping instructions in case there is a discrepancy between SI & customs declaration.
· Handling Telex Release applications.
· Making emergency manifest & BL entry and VGM data as per SI.
· Sending emergency draft bills to customers and making emergency draft BL amendments sent by customers.
· Uploading manifests to Palma and checking discrepancies between SI & customs declaration.
· Preparing vessel’s cargo, DG, Reefer manifests and customs registration file
· Sending manifests and EDI file from Ulukom to partner agencies (if the vessel does not belong to COSCON) and our port agencies.
· Completing electronic customs registration via Ulukom (If the vessel is operated by COSCON)
· Informing relating offices for BL issuance completion.
· Printing bills of lading if any , delivering original BL and original invoices to customers.
· Issuing extra invoices (telex release, lift-on / lift-off etc)
· Preparing BL list for Finance department to see which customer is on credit or on cash or able to receive Sea Waybill.
· Sending original BL to our VIP customers via courier if requested.
· Making original BL amendments after vessel sails.
· Preparing vessel’s file.
· Any possible job assigned by department manager.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:
· At least 1 or 2 year experience in maritime documentation operation.
· Bachelor’s degree in a related fields.
· Resident in Istanbul.
· Good knowledge of English. (Interview will be held in English)
· Good command of MS Office and Excel skills.
· Team-oriented problem solving and project management skills,
· Having excellent written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills and creativity.
· Ability to work independently and show a strong customer-oriented focus,
