We are looking for ‘''Finance Operations and Control Specialist'’ for our global client.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree from Business Administration, Economics, or other Accounting/Finance related departments,
- At least 1-2 year experience in accounting / reporting, preferably in multinational companies
- Good knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP
- Proficiency with MS Office
- English knowledge
- Professional accountancy qualification (SMMM, CPA) is a plus
- Competency in MS Office applications
- Knowledge of accounting rules (both IFRS and local tax), regulations, policies and procedures that is reflective of the company
- Analytical thinking, team work skills, self-motivated and well organized
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Open to change and willing to learn new skills
Job Description
- Perform month-end closing activities
- Prepare periodic period-end reports
- Review balance sheet reconciliations of the accounts under responsibility
- Control accuracy of the transactions and accounting system
- Provide support to other issues related to accounting during the month-end/year-end closing
- Prepare and support Operating Capital and Economic Profit analyses, corporate submissions and reporting
- Perform analysis and conduct further investigations when required to validate the accounting and the accuracy of the financials prior to final monthly, quarterly and annual closing
- Accounting records as timely, accurate and complete relevant legislation and company procedures and ensure that, in accordance with the policy (both IFRS and local ledger)
- Perform finance operations process improvements
- Perform other duties as required to support finance operations department
