Objectives
· Act as point of contact in Controlling Team regarding business functions
· Full responsibility in SAP CO in month-end closing
· Accuracy verification of SAP CO allocation in forecasting and month-end closing
· Provide insightful reporting and data analyses to senior management in support of forecasting and performance management
· Engage in external and commercial activities with the objective of driving growth, productivity and efficiency for the business.
· Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance
· Assist Plant Controlling Manager in the process of the Budget & Forecast development for the Plant
· Gather and organize financial data from other departments
Key activities
· Preparing PnL simulations based on different scenarios
· Coordinating month-end closing and monthly forecasting process for the business
· Preparing variance/bridge analysis compared to budget, forecast and previous year.
· Analzyzing the impacts of changes in import prices, tax regulations, customs regulations on CoGS by co-operative working with tax, inbound, logistics teams.
· Preparing ad-hocs reports in line with strict deadlines
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Hard Skills
· Educated to Bachelor Degree level or equivalent
· Min 3-4 years’ experience in relevant field.
· Fluent in English
· Excellent skills in Microsoft office packages; in particular Excel
· Strong numeracy skills
· Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
· Strong attention to detail
Desirable Soft skills
· Able to work within deadlines
· Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
· Multi tasking
· Result oriented
