QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, International Relations etc.
· Preferably with 1-5 years experience in financial institutions coverage and/or treasury operations units of banks. Experience in financial institutions relationship management, with an understanding of correspondent banking activity.
· In-depth knowledge financial services, financial crime compliance and the external of regulatory/industry environment. Experience in overseeing the completion of KYC or due diligence activities.
· Credit risk skills in understanding financial institutions.
· Ability in working across multi-disciplinary and multi-culturally diverse work environments,
· Well organized and demonstrates a logical approach to problem solving with an ability to prioritize effectively.
· Self-motivated and good team player. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
· Fluent in English, French would be an asset.
· Military obligation completed for male candidates.
THE JOB
· Actively manage, develop and coordinate relationships with Financial Institutions. Be the first point of contact for any request from the correspondent banks and to coordinate with the relevant departments internally.
· Combine financial institutions relationship management with strong risk assessment and management capabilities ensuring the required credit quality & requisite returns on risk.
· Understand and ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures.
· Respond to queries sent by counterparties and correspondent banks, i.e. payment and trade transactions, compliance related inquiries.
· Particularly with strong trade/payment related operational knowledge and capability to handle these transactions.
