QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar position
• Experience in international trading operations : documentation, payment and delivery terms, (INCOTERMS) in international trade and logistics transactions
• Ocean Export operations in Sea freight industry is an asset
• Excellent command of English (both written and verbal)
• Knowledge of Turkish foreign trade and Customs regulations and documentation
• Knowledge of MS Office
• Result-driven personality, problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
• Strong team orientation is essential
• Ability to support a 24/7 global business operation as required
• No military obligation for male candidates
• Ability to deal with stress and work with deadlines

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Logistics operations of the realized contracts; follow up of all documentations of related LC’s,
• Bargaining with the shipping agents or other service providers in order to minimize logistics costs
• Coordination of logistics according to contract conditions, with factories, suppliers, customers and/or warehouses
• Organizing customs and inspection transactions
• Dealing with the customers for any operational concern when needed
• Preparing weekly and monthly export management reports
• May be required to perform other tasks as required (i.e.: Ocean Import and others)
