QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Our company trades in raw materials in the metal sector. The foreign trade unit carries out import, export and transit trade. We are looking for someone with the following qualifications to be trained as a Foreign Trade Operations Specialist in our foreign trade operations unit.


Qualitification:

  • At least Bachelor's degree (Preferably from Universities, Business Administration and International Relations and Logistics).
  • 1 to 2 years experience in a similar role.
  • Very good command of written and spoken English (Level C1-C2).
  • Knowledge of Foreign Trade, Foreign Sales and Operations is required.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, MS Office and Logo Tiger programs.
  • Preference will be given to male/female candidates (male candidates must have completed their military service), residing on the Anatolian side.


Job Description:

  • Performing letter of credit analysis with letter of credit transactions,
  • To follow up and report the operation in accordance with the terms of the contract,
  • To organize and insure the transportation,
  • To ensure that domestic and international certification procedures are carried out,
  • Ensuring that the shipping documents are checked, followed and provided within the specified periods (Having “Incoterms knowledge”),
  • To ensure that service payments are made in coordination with the Finance unit in accordance with the terms of the contract,
  • Ensuring that the original shipping documents are delivered to the customs unit before the goods arrive,
  • To carry out operations related to export and transit customs,
  • To carry out warehouse transfer operations in coordination with Foreign Trade, Import and Customs units,
  • Supporting the overseas sales team in all matters, performing all operations and filings
  • To close the files and to deliver the documents to the relevant units, to perform the archive operations,
  • To follow the developments about the relevant laws and regulations,
  • To prepare the reports of all foreign trade operations and present them to the management,
