We are looking for a Foreign Trade Operations Unit Manager for our head office in Beyoğlu.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business related discipline
- Min 10 years’ experience in International Trade & Customs
- Excellent knowledge of International Trade processes and Customs Compliance both in Turkey & EU
- Management skills, team management experience at least two years
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Energic, dynamic, hard-working
- Open to new aspects, flexible
- Innovative approach, practical thinking, coordination and organization skills
- Working Experience in complex, stressful, demanding and highly cross functional environments
- Strong team player who is adept at managing multiple priorities and working with various internal and external customers
- Problem solving and time management skills

Job Duties
- Executing and ensuring smooth processing of export/import operations, ability to create solutions under related legislation/regulations and develop complicated international trade and customs structures.
- Optimization and re-engineering of international trade/customs process flows to improve efficiency and low-cost base.
- Knowledge of Contract Management in terms of all types of Payment Guarantees, Incoterms, Documentation, Cargo Insurance & Claim Processes, Logistics, Customs Operations & Compliance
- Close contact with customers, suppliers, customs brokers, logistic companies, surveyors, banks, financial institutions, insurance brokers and all related parties within the company.
- Letter of Credit Management, deep knowledge and understanding of all the related rules in scope of ICC.
