QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Required Qualifications
- University graduate in engineering fields, preferably from Mechanical/Material Engineering
- Minimum 3 years experience in purchasing of technical goods (Steel fabrication, raw material, welded structure) preferably in heavy industry
- Knowledge in technical drawings is necessary
- Proven technical expertise in fabrication methods such as welding, machining, coating with regional and global suppliers
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
- Completed military obligation for male candidates
- Able to live in Çerkezköy - Corlu area is required
- Flexible to travel domestic and international
- Proficiency in MS Office applications

Job Description
The candidate will be responsible from entire Steel Fabrication Category and will report directly Headquarter Germany to Head of Global Category Management.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to define the Global sourcing strategy
- Collect inputs and needs from other Putzmeister Regions
- Manage Technical cost reduction activities with suppliers and Engineering. Be the main interface between Engineering and the supplier
- Improve LCC sourcing activities
- Manage current supplier portfolio
