You will be a key member of the Insulation and Components team in Power Grids Turkey Tuzla / Istanbul. Reporting to Quality Manager, your skills and technical expertise will contribute to a variety of design projects.
Your background
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering
- Fluency in English and Turkish both written and spoken any another language is advantageous.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in quality.
- Basic knowledge of SAP.
- Technical knowledge of relevant products pertaining to the power T&D industry.
- Practical knowledge in implementation of Lean production and Six Sigma.
- Practical & technical knowledge for supplier qualification, material and production processes.
- Good command of technical drawing and their relation to international standards as well as internal specifications.
- Good interpersonal skills, dynamic team player, structural thinking and professional approach towards suppliers.
- Male candidates should have completed the military service requirement.
- Valid driving license.
- No restriction for travelling.
Your responsibilities
- Supervising and Supporting incoming quality control activities to ensure reliability of control processes (control plan, control method etc.).
- Planning and performing audit / assessment and follow up of Root Cause Analyze (8D etc.) or any improvement activities process standardization, waste elimination etc.
- Responsible for HV test room functions. Experience in HV test rooms is a plus.
- Increasing supplier quality awareness and drive “Zero Defect” mentality within the supply base. Lead & Support Supplier in terms of quality training “problem solving methods etc.” instruction & control form preparation etc.
- Supporting initiatives and audits launched by Group function / Division on Sustainability, Material compliance, Integrity and Health, Safety and Environment.
- Close cooperating with other functions in Hitachi ABB Power Grids (Production, SCM, R&D, Engineering etc.).
- Responsible for Quality assurance systems ( ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 ).
- Supporting for process improvements.
