QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Qualifications:
- Graduation from Eengineering fields (Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics etc.)
- At least 2 years of homologation experience, preferably in Truck Homologation
- Good written & oral communication skills in German and/or English, at least one of them must be fluent
- Able to work in international / multicultural environment
- Able to travel both domestic and abroad
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills required
- Project management, job prioritization and multi-tasking skill required.
- No Military service obligation for male candidates.
Tasks:
- Focus of the position is homologation of Mercedes-Benz Trucks for both EU, TR and other target markets.
- This position has following key responsibilities:
- Creating all necessary homologation related documentation to obtain system and Turkish vehicle type approvals for Mercedes-Benz Trucks on time.
- Consulting Turkish sales team for homologation issues if necessary.
- In order to fulfill these tasks, the candidate should be able to:
- Take responsibility for a number of assigned Technical Regulations(UN-ECE, EU)
- Study and summarize the Regulation, technical requirements & homologation test procedures
- Consult the development and other departments on homologation relevant topics
- Follow the Regulation movement/interpretations and take necessary actions in order to implement all technical requirements in coordination with R&D and other related departments.
- Coordinate homologation scopes with technical services and approval authorities
- Plan tests for system approvals and select required test vehicles.
