Human Resources Manager – Ankara, Turkey


The Human Resources Manager is a key resource who is responsible for the business support in the broad area of Human Resources, covering the implementation and development of processes, policies and applicable HR systems for Wellspect Turkey, based in the Ankara area, and the guidance of global as well as local practices within the framework of these standards at the site.


The role will report into the Vice President Human Resources Wellspect. This is a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities


This position is a key contributor and part of the Site Management Team, with the following key responsibilities:

  • Support, coach and build trustful relationships with leaders, employees and stakeholders ensuring that the business is well supported across the HR field.
  • Provides the management and coordination of Human Resources related functions in line with Wellspect's strategic goals and priorities
  • Prepares and follows the implementation of the business plan related to Human Resources functions in line with Wellspect’s and the larger group’s strategic and institutional priorities, evaluates the performance of the activities carried out in comparison with the business objectives and presents it to the HR Vice President
  • Provides standards and policies for the Human Resources function in Wellspect Kazan and ensures that services within the scope of the job are regularly carried out within the framework of established standards and company procedures at the site
  • Provides specialist support related to Human Resources practices to Wellspect Kazan Management Team, as a member and specialist
  • By working in coordination with management, ensures that the connections between processes and organizational structure are provided and that the procedures are carried out in accordance with process changes and in compliance with the standards.
  • Support people managers for to preparation of the employee development plans by working with the people managers according to performance evaluation results.
  • Carries out the activities of determining Training & Development.
  • Optimize, standardize and digitalize process flows in the area of responsibility
  • Defining, implementing, and executing all the main strategies and plans related to benefits, goals performance management, internal rotations, wage increases, rewarding systems, recruitment, creation of employment contracts and any other HR related activities.
  • Defining the needs and consolidating the Plans throughout Wellspect Kazan, prepares the budget and submits it to approval.
  • Ensures that the employee satisfaction surveys are organized in certain periods and that the improvement areas related to Human Resources functions and employee expectations are determined and discussed in the management agenda.
  • Ensures that the main data management standards are created and updated for all employees within the company and transmitted correctly to the finance team.
  • Notifies the necessary information, reports, developments and problems related to the duties and responsibilities to HR Vice President and gives information about the activities.
  • Ensures that the company mission, vision, culture and values are implemented within the company and that the administrative decisions are made in line with the values.
  • Ensures that the business relationships between units throughout the company are carried out effectively, that cooperation is made by providing coordination between relevant units and that management harmony is provided and management efficiency is developed.
  • Trains, brings up and leads the employees affiliated tin order to increase their performance and motivation; encourages teamwork and cooperation.


Requirements and Qualification



  • Similar work experience for 10 years or more as HR Manager or HR Lead.
  • Proven experience and knowledge in the different HR fields, such as talent management, staffing and selection, organizational design and restructuring, performance management, coaching, culture and change/transition management.
  • Ability to support, coach and build trustful relationships with leaders, employees and stakeholders ensuring that the business is well supported across the HR field.
  • Ability to navigate and influence stakeholders with flexible and pro-active "hands-on” personality.
  • Ability to take active part in strategic decisions as member of the local management team with the right business acumen.
  • Experience in working with health care providers, legal national system and with local authorities
  • Experience in planning and executing all the HR operations related to areas such as benefits, rewards, recruitment, onboarding and offboarding
  • Native in Turkish and advanced level of English, both verbally and in writing
  • Work related experience within and understanding of a matrix organization, preferably in an international corporate environment.
  • Champion and ambassador of the Wellspect Culture Vision.
  • Ability to be part of the optimization, standardization and digitalization of process flows in the area of responsibility.
  • Experience in HR operations and covering the breadth of HR work.
