What are my responsibilities?

As HR Specialist, you will be a member of the dynamic HR community serving as a trusted business partner with business leaders and your peers expected to contribute to the success of the HR department missions. In this role, you will be in charge of supporting, sometimes leading, monitoring, and measuring the deployment of HR processes mainly focusing but not limited to compensation & benefits, reporting, HR efficiency, pre-payroll check, international mobility, strategic workforce planning, and HR Budget for the Country.


Your responsibilities include:

  • Accountable for the deployment and monitoring of all HR processes as a Business Partner for the identified project organization.
  • Collaborate and partner with HR and business stakeholders to understand requirements and propose, design, and establish meaningful metrics, dashboards, and analyses to enable timely, informed decisions
  • Design and deploy measurement mechanisms, reporting tools, dashboards, and a review cadence to audit and monitor the progress
  • Support Turkey HRBP on implementing and improving all HR actions, while ensuring collaborative and positive Way of Working
  • Liaise with external payroll provider for the monthly payroll interaction, checks pre-payroll
  • Assist and lead when needed various HR projects, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Research, analyze, and present data as assigned and propose proactive solutions, through benchmark when needed
  • Facilitate International Mobility & National Mobility, in collaboration with internal & external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with Data Privacy and Protection Guidelines.
  • Contribute to the transversal HR assignments as needed

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Graduate Degree Level ideally Master in HR-related discipline
  • Significative previous HR generalist/specialist experience (min 4 years), preferably in a multinational working environment, with some experience in payroll (or pre-payroll) processes and interest in HR topics requiring analytical skills
  • Full comprehension of and commitment to Alstom AIR values: agile, inclusive, and responsible
  • Ability to work both independently with a high level of accountability and also in collaboration as part of a team
  • Curious, analytical person with problem-solving capabilities focusing on continuous improvement of the way of working
  • Strong communication skills, good listener with emotional intelligence
  • Knowledgeable of Turkish Labor Law and Regulations
  • MS Excel Wizard, deep interest and aptitude in data, metrics, analysis, and trends
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to have a global view
  • Fluency in English & Turkish
  • Comfortable navigating in grey areas
