Our Gaziemir facility is looking for Interim Import Clerk. Please review below to see if this might be the right opportunity for you!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Arrange transportation for inbound shipments.
- Define a tracking and monitoring system for all shipments.
- Works directly with warehouse and material planner to get all information about volume, weight and packaging of goods in order to update shipping details in systems.
- Controls the invoices of forwarders and customs broker. Reports to the revenue office.
- Documentation of all shipments by PC incl. archiving the files.
- Communicates regularly, clearly and professionally with forwarders, i.e.: orders trucks,
- Responsible for the accuracy of logistics related data on bpcs. Such as customs code, country of origin, truck plate number etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Requires university graduate
- Good interpersonal skills to deal professionally and confidently with all levels of associates
- Requires fluency in English, both oral and written
- Time management skills required for planning and organizing to fully utilize oneself
