General Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferably in IT related disciplines,
- Minimum 7 years of IT Audit and IT Advisory experience,
- Experience in IT governance frameworks, IT and business processes,
- Having CISA, CISM, CISSP and CIA certificates will be an asset,
- Having knowledge in IT regulatory legislations and IT audit standards,
- A good understanding of the IT Infrastructure including Operating Systems, Databases, Network, Information Security, etc.,
- Solid logical, analytical, leadership and communication skills with experience presenting to executives.
Job Description
- Supporting the Head of Internal Audit in developing the internal audit strategy in line with IT strategy,
- Continuously evaluating risk exposures relating to the organization’s ITgovernance and operations,
- Managing the full IT Audit engagement process, controlling audit assignments from planning through to finalization of reports in line with agreed timescales,
- Developing value-added, creative recommendations and reports based on audits,
- Presenting and reporting the audit findings in well-drafted and understandable manner to top management,
- Leading the audit team, allocating work to team members and ensuring the team complete work in accordance with the quality standards and in a timely manner, providing on the job training,
- Conduct IT related ad-hocs audit assignments ( fraud / investigations ),
- Coordinating with external auditors and ombudsman,
- Support the audit team regarding their IT related needs as first level contact.
