Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related fields
  • Minimum 5 years of IT and 2 years of related experience
  • Deep understanding of ITIL approach, principles and processes
  • Proven track record in IT Service Management as well as IT Operations
  • Good understanding of project management, system/software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and various industry standard practices (DevOps, Scrum, PMI)
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. PMP, DevOps Foundation, ITIL MP, ITIL SL, ITIL Master, etc.) would be advantageous
  • Good working knowledge of an IT Service Management, Issue Tracking and Project Management tools
  • Excellent communications skills, can talk business as well as technology
  • Excellent communication, teaching and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and demanding environment
  • Experience managing a team is an asset
  • Broad understanding of IT technologies and business considerations

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, report and communicate on the global performance of IT Service Management processes
  • Define, regularly monitor and report SLA’s, OLA’s and, all ITSM relevant KPI’s
  • Collaborate and work closely with all relevant stakeholders including 3rd party service providers, business partners, department managers, product managers as well as service and product delivery teams
  • Communicate upcoming changes to impacted parties
  • Facilitate post-implementation reviews
  • Escalate to IT senior management if an unauthorized change is discovered
  • Educate the business and IT on the change management process
  • Report on change management activities
  • Owns, manages and maintains IT Service Management, Issue tracking and project management tools
