QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
IT systems specialists maintain and support an organization’s IT systems, such as computer hardware, software, networks and database systems. They are also responsible for implementing security protocols.
IT systems specialists will implement solutions to network issues, system administration problems and application errors, as well as monitoring systems in order to identify potential system errors. In addition, they will assess factors such as compatibility, usability and cost in order to determine the best use of technology.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from universities related area,
- Good command of written and spoken English (position will have close contacts with global partners),
- Excellent interpersonal skills,
- 2+ years of IT experience,
- Experience working across organizational boundaries on a local and global basis is an asset,
- Customer oriented,
- Support open communication and feedback culture,
- Open to change and innovation.
Responsibilities :
- Install, manage and maintain all system hardware and software throughout the organization, resolving problems where necessary
- Evaluate and recommend improvements, modifications or changes to an organization’s IT systems to reduce costs and upgrade the systems
- Perform regular maintenance on software & associate ancillary equipment to maintain optimal efficiency
- Design and document all security measures and standards for all computer software and hardware
- Ensure periodic system backups are performed
- Provide regular status reports to management
- Provide technical support, training, and direction to staff to ensure effective use of systems
- Maintain subject matter expertise in all applications for systems and maintain knowledge on all new and upcoming technologies
- Ensure secure and stable server connectivity and test network protocols
- Work closely with Global Team to establish, maintain, secure and upgrade network.
