QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Junior Analyst
We are looking for a young, bright, motivated professional to join our team in Istanbul, Turkey.
This is a junior (entry) level position; however, applicants with previous experience in in capital markets and equity research, excel charts, and data mining are encouraged to apply.
Required Skills
• Degree and/or close interest in Economics, Finance, Statistics or equivalents
• Very good command of English both written and oral communication
• Verifiable knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Numerate, analytical and rigorous attention to details
• Solid knowledge of capital markets or strong interest in following up equity research
• High sense of responsibility and follow-up
• Flexibility in working hours
• Ability to work under pressure and tight schedules
Responsibilities
• Maintain and develop in-house databases
• Enhance financial data coverage through data mining and compilation from multiple sources
• Follow up release schedules of official data sources and conduct updates accordingly
• Manage automatic data processing systems and liaise with IT team on the amendments
• Take part in product testing and document the test results before the full release
• Attend to user inquiries, analyze and report your findings to seniors
