We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our “Tax Controversy” team in the İstanbul office.
- Bachelor’s degree in law
- Having attorney-at-law license and admitted to bar association
- Desire to work and specialize in tax and fiscal law
- Up to 5 years of experience in a reputable law firm
- Excellent command of legal written and spoken English
- Technical tax knowledge is an asset
- Experience in litigation process is an asset
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Strong follow-up and organizational skills
- Ability to work with strict deadlines
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office Applications
- Ability to work in a dynamic office environment and within flexible working hours
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Perform research and studies related to tax and fiscal law
- Provide legal advice for tax controversy and litigation issues
- Provide assistance during tax inspection process
- Prepare petitions and other official letters
- Provide assistance during tax litigation process
