QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
- Bachelor’s degree in law
- Bar admission in Turkey
- Up to 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience gathered at a leading law firm and/or as an in-house counsel of multinational company
- Strong proficiency in spoken and written English and Turkish
- Ability to organize workload to ensure matters are prioritized in accordance with the needs of the business
- Understanding of business needs and hands-on mentality
- Result oriented
- Clear and positive communication and negotiation skills
- No restriction to travel
- Completed military service for male candidates
- Reporting to Head of Legal& Compliance, Turkey
- Drafting and negotiating all types of contracts and corporate legal documents
- Providing legal advice in all sorts of legal areas including commercial law, corporate law, consumer law, data privacy and competition law
- Advice in compliance matters, especially re. anti-corruption, money laundering, data protection and competition law and provide corresponding trainings
- Conduct Compliance trainings
- Monitoring regulatory developments which affects the business
- Manage litigation matters and external law firms
