We are working independently in dynamic start up environment. Now we are looking for a team member joining us as “ Logistics and Operations Manager”
LOGISTICS AND OPERATIONS MANAGER
What You Are Responsible For
• Strong knowledge of import and export processes of food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic products
• Full ownership of the export process (e.i Preparation of pre-export documents, initiation of transactions, ) follow-up; post-export cost calculation and reporting
• Co-ordination of all program logistics; developing and implementing the country procedures and policies aligning with Supply Chain and Regulatory and IT.
• Responsible of warehousing, coordinating, and communicating 3PL management (including but not limited with cost and contract negotiation)
• Ensure warehouse and stocks are secure, well managed and documented. • Improve on and ensure the accuracy of reporting and tracking databases.
• Be accountable for delivering logistics operational cost budget, ensuring that best-in-class controls and governance are in place
• Discussing and negotiating shipping rates with product carriers
• Facilitating business relationships with clients and product suppliers
• Setting up and maintaining schedules for inbound and outbound shipments
• Directing the flow of an organization’s materials and products
• Working with other departments in the organization to implement logistical improvements
• Supervising the work of the rest of the logistics team
• Manage and delegate tasks as well as responsibilities to key international and national logistics staff
Requirements
• Progressive experience (approx. 5-7years) managing in multi-unit operations in Retail, F&B or FMCG organizations,
• Strong import and export experience
• Excellent organizational, planning and project management skills,
• Market development experience,
• Customer focused and result-oriented,
• Excellent communication skills, oral and writing,
• Strong inherent desire to continue to learn, develop and grow,
• Excellent command of English,
• Proficiency in MS Office,
• Have no restriction to travel.
