QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
- Management of warehousing & logistics team including external personnel and outsourced suppliers
- Ensure workplace health & safety and GMP requirements, with budgetary, operational and productivity targets are met
- Continuous improvement of the warehousing & logistics process chain
- Responsible for material transportation between the site and Novartis hub / third party suppliers
- Support production unit in all warehousing & logistics issues
- Training and development of associates
- Follow up of latest news regarding Import / Export regulations and implementation
- Successful application of Novartis Trade Compliance and good results from other external audits (E&Y, ministries etc.)
- Responsible for warehousing & logistics applications to be compliant with NFCM and reportings
- Ensure and implement all aspects of Quality, Occupational Health, Wellbeing, Safety, Environment, Emergency Management, and Business Continuity according to Novartis Policies / Guidelines / Operational Procedures / and Legal Regulations for responsible area / unit / operations and contractor operations
Minimum Requirements:
- University degree in related fields
- Experience in supply chain & logistics area min. 6 years
- Comprehensive know how in pharmaceutical manufacturing & technology
- Advanced communication skills in English
- Analytical thinking and problem solving
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Very good interaction with people, team player
