QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Ege Profil has been established in 1981, is the leader of the Turkish PVC Profile Sector, continues its investment activities empowered by its brand history over a quarter of a century. Our Company operates in the PVC profile sector under four brands, namely Egepen Deceuninck, Winsa, Flora and Inoutic. The facility in İzmir, with its indoor area of 36000 sqm and a machinery park of a capacity of 50,000 tons, the Kocaeli (İzmit) plant is dedicated to the Winsa products with an indoor area of 27,000 sqm and a machinery park with a capacity of 20,000 tons. Moreover, both brands have individual Regional Directorates in İzmir, İstanbul, Ankara and Adana.


We are looking for a Logistics Manager for our Menemen Plant who fullfills the following requirements ;

  • BS/MS degree in related Engineering departments, Industrial Engineering is preferred,
  • 7 years of experience in a similar management position,
  • Excellent command of English,
  • Very good command of Microsoft Office,
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills,
  • Team leadership experience, with proven ability to build effective teams and develop people,
  • Drive for results with proactive, dynamic and action orientated approach, identifying areas where business change is required and excellence in project management,
  • Strong collaboration skills with strong business and financial acumen and the ability to forge senior level strategic partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders,
  • Strong negotiating skills with ability to negotiate in tough situations with both internal and external groups,
  • No restriction to travel /stay abroad.


İŞ TANIMI

  • Planning and managing execution of all logistics transactions, preparing and controlling necessary documentation,

    • Ensure the implementation of the business plan by delivering a consistent service level, adapting the supply chain to the demanding and changing customer environment and ensuring sufficient operational capacity to deliver business needs,
    • Planning and coordinating shipments ensuring optimum cost and on time delivery,
    • Be accountable for delivering logistics operational cost budget, ensuring that best-in-class controls and governance are in place,
    • Foster, initiate and lead continuous improvement programs that reduce cost and our carbon footprint and improve the service performance of the operation,
    • Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements,
    • Ensure successful project implementation,
    • Analysing the optimization of the inventory level, making recommendations to the procurement and planning departments regarding inventory reduction.
