MAT Filtration Technologies was established to provide the highest possible efficiency equipment and services on water filtration technology. Specifically MAT was established in 2012 in Izmir, Turkey and was founded by fish husbandry industry experts. Our expertise in animal husbandry for over 35 years is our biggest competitive advantage. Furthermore we understand animal behavior and we know in depth the operational needs to run properly a facility. Our company develops and tests the equipment performance and ensures its ease of operation on our marine fish quarantine facility in Izmir. In addition we have designed our organisation to deliver successfully and on-time demanding projects in any part of the world. Finally MAT has developed to become a design, manufacturing and contracting leader in the field of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) and specialty filtration technologies. Currently, we employ over 180 highly-skilled staff of multiple nationalities.

We are looking for a Purchasing Manager for our growing company.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Confirming the compliance of the payment terms with the budget and cash flow plan before the order with the Finance Director
Establishing a tracking system according to the delivery dates for the orders and ensuring the operation / control of the system
Making waybills and invoices of purchased materials, warehouse entries and current stock control
Providing the company's purchasing management
Determining the companies to be bids within the framework of the documents coming from the project departments and the current contract terms and collecting the price offers,
Purchasing of goods, services and technical equipment with the features specified in the specifications and projects in accordance with the procedure and budget
Collecting material prices and subcontractor prices, preparing price offers, creating price analyzes for the works to be submitted
Doing supply analysis to reduce purchasing costs

QUALIFICATIONS

Graduated from Mechanical Engineering Department of Universities,
At least 10 years of experience in the field of purchasing, management experience is needed
Able to use MS Office programs at an advanced level
Confident in effective communication and persuasion methods
Developed problem-solving skills
Advanced level of written and verbal English
Able to work at a dynamic pace
Will be able to plan and manage the internal and external relations of the department
Living in Üçkuyular, Balçova, Narlıdere, Güzelbahçe, Seferihisar and Urla is preferred
