QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking to actively shape the future at our location in Izmir, in Purchasing Department having the following qualifications:
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
- BS or MSc degree in related department,
- Good/ very good command of verbal and written English is must (German as a second languageis an asset),
- Minimum 2 years experience in purchasing process,
- Knowledge of SAP (MM) would be an asset,
- Having knowledge about procurement process,
- Technical background regarding purchasing process,
- Proficiency in MS-Office applications,
- Teamwork, communication, reliability, high self-motivation skills,
- Able to work in Izmir,
- Having knowledge about INCOTERMS and Aegean Free Zone regulations (is an asset),
- Military service must be completed for male candidates.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Responsible for purchasing activities of direct/ indirect materials via SAP in line with the demands from departments,
- Create and follow up demands in SAP system,
- Create PO’ s in SAP, forwarding relevant form to suppliers and receiving an approval from suppliers,
- Monitor leadtimes, quantities, deliveries of PO’ s,
- Ensuring a good communication between suppliers and departments in the procurement process,
- Preparing purchasing documents, keeping records and approvals received from supplier, submitting to relevant departments if necessary,
- Forwarding the required purchasing documents to Logistic department,
- Preparing relevant reports in weekly,monthly and annual basis,
- Look for alternative/ approved suppliers in line with company material requirements if necessary,
- Taking actions on different in function or cross function projects assigned by his/her manager.
