QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
ABAX-TCI is an engineering & manufacturing company supplying equipment in the field of steelmaking. The main business is concentrated on the production of copper billet & mould and steel billet & bloom or slab casting machines.
We are looking for ''Mechanical Design Engineer''candidates to work at ABAX-TCI ALOSBI Facility in Aliaga.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering,
- Minimum 3 years of related experience,
- Proficient in 2D &3D design programs such as Solidworks / Autodesk ACAD, Autodesk Inverter & ANSYS etc.,
- Experience in development and design (3D-CAD modeling and drawings) of new products (made of copper/copper alloy),
- Experience in Induction Furnace fields,
- Experience in design/production of components that made from copper/copper alloy for Electric Power Transmissions, Electric Arc Furnace, Solar Panels,
- Excellent command of spoken and written English,
- Analytical mindset with strong planning and self-learning skills,
- Available for international travels in case of needed,
- Able to drive a car,
- No military obligation for male candidates,
- Will be able to reside in Aliaga or Izmir region.
JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
- Transfer of concepts into detailed designs, creating 3D-models and drawings,
- Preparation of draft solutions under consideration of functional, material and manufacturing technology,
- Evaluation and coordination of design solutions with the respective stakeholders,
- Simulation of designed products,
- Present and discuss new ideas in the design stage,
- Creation of specifications for parts and systems, including target costing, also to support purchasing (request for quotation) and creating and maintaining BOMs,
- Following manufacturing, assembly and start-up phases of designed products to ensure quality and functionality,
- Contributing to various improvement projects,
- Technical support to other departments and subsuppliers,
- Perform feasibility studies for new projects.
